Before painting begins, our team protects flooring, cabinets, countertops, furniture, and appliances within the work area. If we’re painting a kitchen, for example, that may mean carefully moving the refrigerator or stove, protecting the flooring beneath it, and covering cabinets, countertops, and appliances before work begins.

That attention continues throughout the project. At the end of each workday, we put away supplies and equipment and sweep or vacuum floors. It may seem like a small task in the scope of the project, but it makes a difference when you’re still living or working in the area we’re painting.

You’ll Know What’s Happening Along the Way

Good communication shouldn’t end when you approve the project estimate.

Your PMV Project Manager provides consistent communication and support leading up to the start of the project. After painting begins, your PMV Crew Leader heads the onsite team and gives you a direct point of contact throughout the work.

You’ll know who to turn to with a question, how the project is progressing, and what to expect next. We want to take some of the uncertainty out of having work done in your home or business. For us, communication isn’t an extra service. It’s part of doing the job professionally.

Beautiful Results Start with Careful Preparation

A polished finish starts before the first coat of paint.

Our professional painters examine the surfaces included in the project and address imperfections that could affect the finished result. That might mean repairing a nail pop in a ceiling, smoothing a poorly completed wall patch, or sanding away an old paint drip rather than simply painting over it. Caulking, patching, sanding, and other repairs help create a smooth, uniform surface before new coatings are applied.

Materials matter, too. PMV selects repair materials, primers, and paints for their durability, appearance, and practicality for everyday use.

When is the Project Finished?

The final coat isn’t the end of The PMV Way. Before the project is complete, your Crew Leader walks through all painted areas with you. If you identify something that needs another look, we document the concern, our team addresses it, and we confirm your satisfaction with the results.

Then we focus on returning your space to you. We move furniture back to its original location, wipe down countertops, sweep hard floors, and vacuum carpeted areas.
